The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, on Wednesday congratulated the Republican candidate, Donald Trump, for the victory in the presidential elections in the USA.

Prime Minister Kurti wrote in X that the USA is a key ally for Kosovo. Kurti emphasizes that he "looks forward to working with Trump for progress and peace".

"Congratulations President Donald Trump on your election victory. The USA is a key ally, friend and partner of Kosovo and we look forward to working together for progress and peace", Kurti wrote in X.

In the November 5 race were Democrat Kamala Harris, currently the vice president of the United States, and Republican Donald Trump, who was president from 2017 to 2021.
