The Prime Minister of the country, Albin Kurti, has emphasized that the terrorist attack on the water channel in "Ibër-Lepencit" on November 29 was intended to endanger the national security of our country. Prime Minister Kurti also emphasized that the terrorist Milan Radoicic is behind this attack.
In a media conference today, he emphasized that the explosive explosion in the "Ibër-Lepenc" canal was led by the terrorist group, as he says, "Milan Radoiçiqi, who aimed to paralyze economic and energy life in Kosovo".
"Based on the intelligence that the security institutions possess, behind the order for the explosive attack on the Ibër-Lepenci canal is Milan Radoiçiqi and his terrorist group that was being supported and sheltered by Serbia. The state of Serbia is responsible for the planning, financing and logistics of the attack. The attack was planned in advance by Milan Radoicic. For its realism, based on the data so far, two groups have been included within the civil organization "Civil Defense" which is financed by Serbia and continuously trained there. The first group provided logistical support on the ground. Meanwhile, the second group, some professional people, where it is believed that there were also people from the security structures of Serbia close to Milan Radoicic, were involved in the realism of the attack... The explosive attack in the Ibër-Lepenc canal on November 29, 2024 through damage of the entire channel was intended to paralyze the economic and energy life in the Republic of Kosovo as well as to cause riots which would come as a consequence and would be endangered national security in Kosovo and the situation in the region would be provoked", emphasized Kurti.
According to Prime Minister Kurti, the November 29 terrorist attack on the Ibër-Lepenc canal is a continuation of terrorist acts and other destabilizing activities carried out by the mechanisms of influence of Serbia in Kosovo, including Serbian terrorist organizations.
According to him, the data possessed by the security institutions of the Republic of Kosovo lead to the conclusion that through the combination of the terrorist attack with misinformation and propaganda, Serbia is aiming for the public to lose faith in the institutions of Kosovo. He added that the attacks may be intended to be carried out depending on the political interests of the Serbian head of state.On November 29 of this year in Varaga, an attack with 15 kilograms of explosives caused a large explosion in the "Ibër-Lepenc" canal, which supplies water to several cities in the country, for which the Kosovo institutions have made Serbia responsible. The international community, the US and QUINT have condemned the attack, demanding that the perpetrators be brought to justice. For the November 29 explosion, so far there are two Serbs who are being held in custody.
