The leader of the Vetëvendosje Movement, who is also the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, has compared the Democratic League of Kosovo to a "fly". During an electoral rally in Peja, he said that in the party of Lumir AbdixhikuThey are bragging that people are applauding them, but according to him, "the applause shows very well what they are trying to do to that fly."
Kurti even performed it himself three times in front of the audience, smothering an imaginary fly with his hands.
"When we happen to hear an LDK leader say that the people like him, do the people have sympathy for him? To me, this resembles that fly that said that wherever he goes, they are waiting for him with applause. So when they say that the people like him, it is like that fly that was praised that people are waiting for him with applause. You know very well that with those clapping hands, what they are trying to do to that fly," he said.
During the election campaign that began on January 11, Kurti has been harsh with opposition parties, calling them "villains" on several occasions. /KosovaPress/
