Judo coach Driton Kuka has expressed that he is proud of the successes achieved by Kosovo athletes in the international arena and, according to him, they were not believed to be achieved within such a short period.
At the beginning of this week, the Kosovo Olympic Committee celebrated the tenth anniversary of its membership in the International Olympic Committee, and the President of the International Olympic Committee Tomas Bach participated there, KosovaPress reports.
"The first man of World Sports, namely the President of the IOC, Tomas Bach, with many collaborators, is visiting our country on the 10th anniversary of admission to the IOC! A good evening organized by the IOC where our Federation met separately with Bach and also with the President of the European Olympic Committee Spyros Capralos in a friendly and content meeting. For 10 years, Kosovo has 5 Olympic medals. This was the main topic and the first people of the World sport said that they did not believe that there will be such results. We have worked with one goal to show the world our values, and above all to show you how much we have deserved freedom as a people", wrote Kuka on Facebook.
