The Chairman of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Memli Krasniqi, has visited the Municipality of Mitrovica, where together with the Chairman Bedri Hamza, they closely followed the important infrastructural works being developed in this municipality.

Krasniqi said that the Municipality of Mitrovica and other municipalities that are led by mayors who are from the ranks of the PDK, are an example of the return of politics to the service of all citizens, without distinction, the communiqué states.

"I am proud as the chairman of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, that the mayors of the municipalities that are led by the PDK, such as the case of Bedri Hamza, are the best model of governance, they are the official champions of Kosovo in good governance, in budget transparency financial, in the realization of projects, in the realization of capital projects and in the visible improvement not only of the infrastructure that is already evident, but also in the provision of much more efficient and helpful services for all categories of society", emphasized Krasniqi.

Meanwhile, the mayor of the Municipality of Mitrovica, Bedri Hamza, said that the Kurti Government throughout its mandate has not supported the realization of any project in this municipality.

"Four years of government, a ribbon of a capital project in Mitrovica is not cut as a result of central level funding, it is not good", added Hamza.

During his visit to the Municipality of Mitrovica, Krasniqi took a close look at the works for the construction of the Family Medicine Clinic in Koshtovë, those on "Dëshmorët e Kombit" street in the Shipol neighborhood and on "Mbretëresha Teutë" street, the space where the promenade that connects the promenade of the city and the promenade of the Reservoir Lake, as well as the works of the Panoramic Balcony of the city.
