The Municipal Director for Sports in Pristina Bardh Krasniqi expresses his conviction that they will be ready in terms of infrastructure for the organization of the 2030 Mediterranean Games.

In an interview for KosovaPress, Krasniqi says that he is already working with great dedication on the maintenance and renovation of the existing sports grounds in the capital.

He adds that the year 2030 will find Pristina transformed as the central level has allocated a high budget for the creation of the necessary sports infrastructure for the Mediterranean Games.

According to Krasniqi, an Olympic village will be built in Lower Bërnica, which will also include a multifunctional sports center.

Two weeks ago, Krasniqi and his team were in Switzerland, where the way of working and the specifics of the sports grounds that will be applied to the new sports infrastructure in the capital were taken as a sample.

Although large investments and voluminous work are needed, Krasniqi is convinced that everything will be ready for the hosting of the Mediterranean Games.
