In the 24-hour report, the Kosovo Police has reported several cases of domestic violence in various cities of Kosovo.

Domestic violence was reported in the village of Istog, where a person was arrested after he had abused his mother.

"After the interview, the victim was sent to a shelter, while by the decision of the guardian prosecutor, the suspect was sent to the detention center," the report states.

In the Municipality of Gjakova, mother and daughter reported that the husband/father had exercised psychological violence against them.

"The suspect has not been arrested at the moment as he left in an unknown direction", the announcement states.

Also in Lipjan, a woman announced that she was physically attacked by the person she lives with.

"Then the victim's brother attacked the mentioned suspect. The victim received medical treatment. The two suspects have been arrested and by the prosecutor's decision they have been sent to custody", it is said further.

Until in Pristina, a woman reported that her husband continuously exercised psychological violence against her and physically attacked her.

"Regarding the case, the suspect was searched at his house, but he was not found after he had left the house. At the moment, the victim has taken refuge with her family members", the police report states.
