For many years, the Serbian List has not represented the interests of Kosovo's Serb citizens, says analyst Branislav Krstic in an interview with KosovaPress.
He emphasizes that this party works only for its own interests and is at the same time an instrument of the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vuçiq.
"We have experience, in the last 12 years the Serbian List has had 10 deputies in the Kosovo State Parliament, but it seems to me that they have only come out and spoken to their colleagues in parliament three times. They have not supported the interests of their community for years. They are a kind of Machiavellians who work only for their own interests and are an instrument of Aleksandar's regime. Vuçiq", says Krstic.
Krstic emphasizes that the February 9 elections were a surprise, according to him, due to the low turnout of citizens - less than 50 percent, and for this he says that one of the reasons was the offensive language used during the campaign.
He criticizes the government for "politicization within this institution."
Krstic, among other things, assesses that the opposition has benefited from these elections and according to him, the leader of the Vetevendosje Movement - the party that came first in the elections, Albin Kurti, will not succeed in forming a government, but "will try to buy time so that the country can go to extraordinary parliamentary elections again towards the end of this year."
The Central Election Commission has counted 99.57 percent of the votes from 2,522 polling centers, out of a total of 2.533, according to which the Vetëvendosje Movement continues to lead with 40.83 percent or 340 thousand 690 votes.
The Democratic Party of Kosovo ranks second with 22.03 percent or 184 thousand 661 votes, the Democratic League of Kosovo third with 17.61 percent or 146 thousand 815 votes.
AAK-NISMA-Conservatives-Intellectuals-Ideal is ranked fourth with 7.47 percent or 62 votes."I believe that we will have a very serious political crisis. I am not sure that Kurti will form the government, will buy time to combine the parliamentary and local elections, the opposition will insist, because the opposition together has benefited from these elections. We will not have serious unrest, we will not have situations of incidents on the streets, but we will have a government that will not be stable", says Krstic.
Kosovo Serbs were part of the February 9 elections, where according to preliminary CEC results, among Serbian political entities, the Serbian List leads with 4.5 percent.
In second place is "Freedom, Justice and Survival" with 0.47 percent, followed by the New Democratic Party with 0.43, Serbian Democracy 0.30, Serbian National Movement 0.21 and the Party of Kosovo Serbs with 0.05 percent. /A. Damati
