The Kosovar American Education Fund (KAEF) marked today the 20th anniversary of its foundation "Two inspiring decades of change".
In addition to the presentations, this event did not lack gratitude to the people who contributed to this fund.
KAEF Founder's Legacy Award was presented to Dale B. Pfeiffer, founder and president of the Alumni Association, KAEF Advocate Award - Behgjet Pacolli Foundation, KAEF Corporate Changemaker Award - Meridian, Spar, KAEF Honorary Achievement Award - Michael E. Hora , chairman of the Kosovo and USA Committee, KAEF and KAEF Legacy Award - United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
KAEF, established with funds from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), is now funded primarily through the generous support of local individuals and businesses, the Government of Kosovo, American donors, and American universities.
Prime Minister Albin Kurti and former president Atifete Jahjaga also participated in this 20th anniversary.
Over 250 guests gathered tonight at the gala to celebrate KAEF's 20th anniversary and honor KAEF's outstanding student community. Administered by the American Councils for International Education, KAEF has supported over 115 Kosovar students in attending more than 40 leading universities in the United States since its creation in 2004.
