In August, the famous couple Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck decided to separate. Although they haven't finalized the divorce yet, the two are already planning their separate lives.

Recently, J.Lo has revealed the reasons why she decided to end a marriage that many thought would last for decades.

Lopez confessed that the relationship ended after the release of her documentary, The Greatest Love Story Never Told, which premiered in February 2024.

Despite the hope that the couple would have a fairy-tale ending, especially since they were married, things did not turn out that way.

In a conversation with Nikki Glaser for Interview magazine, Lopez explained that her "whole world exploded" after the release of her documentary.

According to her, this was the moment when she realized that her marriage was over.

While recovering from her last breakup, Jennifer told Glaser that she learned that things don't always go according to plan and it's important to learn from your mistakes.

"I was reflecting on this moment in my life and I thought, 'This is not what I imagined it would be.' Then I realized, 'No, this is exactly what I needed to get to where I want to go,'" Lopez told Glaser.

A source close to JLo added: “She wants the next year to be the best of her life, to show the world that her love life hasn't gotten her down. It will rise again."
