Investigators of the Kosovo Police Inspectorate (IPK) arrested a police official in Prizren yesterday on the suspicion that he committed the criminal offense of "intimidation".

The announcement states that the IPK investigators received the first information related to this case yesterday after 17:00 from the Kosovo Police in Prizren that a police officer is involved as a suspect in a case of intimidation.

"Investigators of the IPK have gone to the scene and in coordination with the Prosecutor have undertaken several investigative actions. After these investigative actions, the police official was ordered to be detained for 48 hours by the prosecutor's decision on suspicion of having committed the criminal offense of "intimidation". "Regarding the same case, as part of the administrative and investigative procedures, the police official has been suspended," the communiqué states.

Furthermore, it is known that the IPK investigators are expected to undertake other investigative actions towards clarifying all the circumstances of this case.
