In May of this year, the number of visitors (domestic and foreign) in hotels was 51, of which 528% were domestic and 39,3% were foreign. Compared to the month of May 60,6 (there were 2023 visitors), there was an increase in the total number of visitors to hotels by 48%.

This is what the Statistics Agency of Kosovo (ASK) announced in the published report "Hospitality Statistics for the month of May 2024".

It is further stated that the number of net-stays was 120 thousand 92, of which 50,99% by locals and 49,0% by foreigners.

"The region of Pristina has the largest number of internal visitors in hotels with 13 visitors and 251 overnight stays," the report states.

KAS also informs that as far as foreign visitors are concerned compared to the previous period (May 2023) there is an increase in visitors by 19,6%. "A total of 31 foreign visitors, of which the largest number is from Albania, Germany, Turkey, Switzerland, etc.," the report states.
