Hotel data published by INSTAT show that the number of total visitors increased by 62,0%, compared to April 2023. Hotel stays increased in April by more than 74.5 percent.

"The same trend is followed by the two indicators of the number of resident visitors, which have increased by 19,4% and the number of non-resident visitors has increased by 91,9%," says the INSTAT publication.

"During the month of April 2024, the total number of visitors increased by 62,0%, compared to April 2023. The number of non-resident visitors who were accommodated in the Center Region increased by 2.1 times. In non-coastal areas, this indicator has increased by 85,4%, compared to the same period of the previous year.

The number of non-resident visitors in "Hotels and similar accommodation" has increased by 85.6%", states the publication of INSTAT.

But which are the regions that have had the highest number of visitors? According to April data, the Center Region had 63.3 percent of them.
