Two people were arrested on suspicion of throwing an explosive device (hand grenades) in the parking lot of a bar in Lipjan. The Kosovo Police announces that apart from material damage, no injuries have been reported.

According to the police, by the decision of the prosecutor, a raid was carried out at the house of one of the suspects, where weapons were found and seized during the search.

"Lipjan 17.08.2024-02:50. Two Kosovar male suspects were arrested, after they allegedly threw an explosive device (hand grenades) in the parking lot of a bar. In addition to material damage, no injuries were reported. According to the prosecutor's decision, the house of one of the suspects was raided, where a hunting weapon with 16 cartridges and an air rifle were found and seized during the search", says the 24-hour police report.

It is further stated that by the decision of the prosecutor, the suspects were sent to custody.
