Kosovo Police announced that they arrested four people in Peja on Wednesday who are suspected of having committed the criminal offenses of attempted murder, minor bodily injury and participation in a beating, reports KosovaPress.

The arrest came after a fight that reportedly took place on "Konferenca e Bujanit" street on Wednesday shortly before midnight.

"The beating allegedly occurred when three of the suspects attacked the fourth suspect and the victim, during which the fourth suspect, using a sharp instrument [knife], stabbed two of the suspects, causing bodily injuries," the Kosovo Police announced, reports KosovaPress.

The suspects were then taken to the Regional Hospital in Peja for medical treatment.

According to the announcement, after being interviewed by investigators, by decision of the state prosecutor, three of the suspects were sent to detention for 48 hours, while one of the suspects was released in a regular procedure, following KosovaPress.
