The Mayor of the Municipality of Prizren, Shaqir Totaj, and the Ambassador of Albania in Pristina, Petrit Malaj, during a meeting today, discussed the main strategies aimed at promoting stronger ties between the respective regions and advancing cooperative efforts in different sectors.

Totaj and Malaj emphasized the importance of strengthening relations with the cross-border municipalities of Albania to promote socio-economic growth and cultural exchange. They underlined the importance of solidarity and cooperation in addressing common challenges and taking advantage of opportunities for mutual development.

The meeting also discussed the expansion of tourism, culture, sports and education initiatives between Kosovo and Albania, strategic partnerships to strengthen the tourist infrastructure, the preservation of cultural heritage, the promotion of sports events and the enrichment of educational exchanges between the two countries.
