Dozens of Serbian citizens in Zveçan are standing in improvised tents placed in front of the building of this municipality, thus protesting against the presence of the Kosovo Police and the Albanian mayors of the northern municipalities who emerged from the April 23 elections.
While the representatives of the Serbian List for the first time are not seen among the protesters.
The protesters are occasionally listening to music with nationalist songs dedicated to Kosovo.
KFOR soldiers in symbolic numbers and without weapons are standing in front of the protesters.

The situation in the three municipalities in the north of the country became tense on Friday, May 26, when the sworn mayors were forced to enter their work offices under the assistance of the Kosovo Police.
As a result of the violent protests, six Kosovo policemen and 30 KFOR soldiers were injured, while the Serbs also attacked the Kosovo Police and journalists.
The United States has criticized Kosovo for escalating tensions with Serbia, even canceling the country's participation in a NATO military exercise "Defender 23", after Prishtina refused to withdraw its mayors and police forces from the north of the country.
While last night (Monday) the prime minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, after last night's meeting with the European and American emissaries Miroslav Lajcak and Gabriel Escobar, said that the way forward is the immediate stop of attacks by Serbian extremists and criminal groups against the security bodies and journalists. While the emissaries submitted three requests for which they declared that they expect to be heard by the Government of Kosovo.
"The first is the de-escalation of the situation on the ground in the three northern municipalities, then quick elections in these municipalities and the return to dialogue."
