The Football Federation of Kosovo has strongly condemned the incident and the serious insult of a chauvinistic nature that happened in the "Karaiskakis" stadium, in the Greek championship match between Olympiakos and Aris, last evening.

"The display of anti-Kosovo banners and the praise of the group of terrorists who committed aggression against the state of Kosovo a few days ago is a serious violation of football values and an expression of hate speech between peoples. This incident is unacceptable and has no place in the world of football. We are aware of the strong connection of the Olympiakos fan group with radical fan groups in Serbia, and of the fact that some of them are Serbs infiltrating this group. . However, we are outraged by the lack of reaction of the Greek Football Federation to deal with this situation. Allowing these fascist and racist banners in the stands behind the goal during the entire match is an irresponsibility that cannot be tolerated," says the FFK's reaction.

"Kosovo considers Greece as a friendly country and appreciates its positive approach towards our country in international relations. With this positive approach, we ask the football authorities in Greece to be careful of such cases, to responsibly follow the UEFA protocol and to punish such incidents in an adequate manner," FFK's response continues. .
