And while you don't need more reasons to love it and add it to your diet, it's important to know that cinnamon is much more than just a tasty spice.

According to recent studies conducted at the University of Medical Sciences of Birjandi, cinnamon is anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant and anti-carcinogenic, strengthens the immune system, and improves brain function, especially memory and learning.

Likewise, a study conducted analyzing teenagers who consumed cinnamon showed that they had less anxiety and stronger memory.
