Jose Mourinho has shown his humane side by asking for information on the state of health of Fiorentina football player Eduardo Bove who deteriorated during the match against Inter by falling to the ground in the 17th minute.
According to Gazzetta, Mourinho was shocked to see Boven suddenly collapsed on the ground on Sunday, so he wanted to speak directly to the player's family to understand what happened and the latest developments.
Mourinho made sure that Bove was 'awake, alert and happy' on Monday, a day after the medical emergency at "Stadio Franchi", KosovaPress reported.
Bove played 72 games for Roma under Mourinho, more than any other manager in his career, scoring four goals and providing two assists.
Bove went down in the 17th minute during the Fiorentina-Inter match on Sunday. He received medical attention in less than 30 seconds and was taken to the local Careggi hospital in just 13 minutes.
Bove joined Fiorentina from Roma last summer on an initial loan deal with an obligation to buy.
