The Basic Prosecutor's Office in Ferizaj has announced that it has requested from the Basic Court in Ferizaj, the appointment of a measure of detention for a period of 30 days against the suspect HH, from the municipality of Gjilan, due to the suspicion of the criminal offense "Rape".

According to the Prosecutor's Office, there is a suspicion based on the fact that on August 12, 2024, in Ferizaj at the "Bronkly" motel, under the threat of publishing nude photographs of the victim, MB forced the victim to first meet with the "Hib" restaurant Petrol" and then sent her to the "Bronkly" motel, where he had sex without her consent.

"The defendant asked the victim to meet to have sex, threatening to publish the photos he had on his phone, but the victim did not accept and submitted the case to the police on 19.08.2024 .227, thereby committing the criminal offense "Rape" from Article 1 paragraph 48 of the KPRK. Meanwhile, the Basic Court in Ferizaj has approved the request of the Basic Prosecution of Ferizaj, for the appointment of the measure of detention against the defendant HH, due to the well-founded suspicion that he committed the criminal offense of rape.

The pre-trial judge approved the request of the state prosecutor for detention on remand against the defendant as grounded in accordance with the provisions of the PCPCK, and he was remanded in custody for a period of one month.
