Marius Borg Hoiby, the son of Norwegian Princess Mette-Marit, has been accused of raping TV presenter Linni Meister at a party in the castle basement.

The 28-year-old had previously been charged with various crimes, including rape and domestic abuse.

It is now suspected that he raped the presenter while she was unconscious. The incident took place at a party held in the basement of the royal castle Skaugum in 2018.

Marius notoriously invited criminals to his wild parties, which he called "Skaugum festivals." He was 21 at the time of the alleged rape.

The presenter was unconscious during the attack and does not remember the attack, and only found out about it after the competent authorities notified her of it.

The allegations came to light when police allegedly found three videos and over 10 photos from the party on Marius' laptop. The presenter was then summoned to the Oslo police station and presented with the material. Authorities have launched an investigation into the allegations.

As a reminder, Marius was first arrested on August 4, 2024, and has since faced a number of charges, including assault, two counts of rape, and other sexual assaults.

The investigation against the son of the Norwegian princess is still ongoing, and he is also facing charges of violating a restraining order against multiple women and tampering with evidence.
