On World Down Syndrome Day, BKT Kosovo reaffirms its dedication to promoting inclusiveness and advocacy for the rights and well-being of individuals with Down syndrome in Kosovo. This support underlines the Bank's commitment to creating a more inclusive society where every individual is valued and supported.

Within this support, the bank covers the expenses for therapeutic services for a 12-month period for two children diagnosed with Down syndrome. This initiative aims to provide essential support and care to individuals with Down syndrome, helping them reach their full potential.

World Down Syndrome Day, observed annually on March 21, serves as an opportunity to raise awareness, promote understanding and protect the rights of individuals with Down syndrome around the world. Therefore, today at BKT Kosova we call on everyone to commit as much as possible to promote positive changes for a more inclusive community.

"At BKT Kosova, we stand in solidarity with individuals with Down syndrome and their families. Our support for the Down Syndrome Association Kosova reflects our unwavering commitment in the social field. On this World Down Syndrome Day, we reaffirm our commitment to protect the rights and the well-being of individuals with Down syndrome," said Suat Bakkal, CEO and member of the Board of BKT Kosova.

The Down Syndrome Association of Kosovo expressed its gratitude for the support from BKT Kosovo, emphasizing the importance of cooperation in promoting positive social impact.

"We are extremely grateful to BKT Kosovo for their support on World Down Syndrome Day. Together, we can work towards creating a more inclusive and supportive environment for individuals with Down syndrome in Kosovo," said Sebahate Hajdini Beqiri, founder and executive director of the Down Syndrome Association Kosovo.
