Diaspora has been evaluated as one of the key actors with influence in the economic and social development of Kosovo over the years. This was said at the opening ceremony of the second edition of the forum "Ulpiana in Pristina. It was also emphasized that compatriots are the biggest donors since 1999, especially from Germany and the USA, reports KosovaPress.

The Prime Minister of the country, Albin Kurti, said that one of the main initiatives is the implementation of the dialogue with the diaspora. According to Kurt, this initiative will strengthen the ties between Kosovo and the global diaspora.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, Donika Gërvalla emphasized how institutions should continuously invest for the people of Kosovo in the diaspora.
