A roundtable discussion was held in Pristina today on the topic of "interfaith dialogue according to the Albanian model".

The Speaker of the Assembly of Kosovo, Glauk Konjufca, said that our long history shows that at no time can a religiously based conflict be found in our country.

He said that interfaith dialogue according to the Albanian model exists and should be spread as widely as possible.

The President of the "Drita" Foundation, Zef Gashi, said that Kosovo has a long history of coexistence and this is a precious heritage that must not only be preserved but also increasingly strengthened, reports the newspaper. KosovaPress.

According to him, at this time when the world is facing crises, the clear message is that dialogue is the only bridge to a just, equal, and peace-loving society.

The Vatican's Apostolic Delegate, Jean Marie SPEICH, said that we must work for dialogue, peace, and move forward.

"Something like this that we promote with the representation of all religious communities because the solution to happiness, coexistence is not only in politics and economics, but in dialogue and peaceful coexistence," he said.

The Mayor of Pristina, Përparim Rama, said that peace is not a naive dream but a tangible reality.
