In the absence of a quorum, it has failed, I sayethe launch of the Parliamentary Commission of Inquiry on the executive responsibilities of the Ministry of Justice in relation to the suspicious fires in the Institute of Forensic Medicine, the disappearance of samples in the case of Astri Dehar and any action or inaction of this ministry that has violated the independence and legal responsibilities of this institute .

The deputy of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Blerta Deliu, said that as deputies submitting the request for the establishment of this commission, they consider that "just as the attack on this institution was not a coincidence, the events and developments around and on this institute during this time and governing mandate".

She emphasized that now the doubts are greater that the current government for certain purposes has turned the IML into a target of attacks and a political instrument.

Deliu added that the Parliamentary Investigative Committee should also investigate the legal responsibility of the Ministry of Justice as to how it is possible that even after the disappearance of the samples of the Dehari case, the supervision and security level in this institute remains so low.

Meanwhile, regarding this issue, there was a clash between the deputy of the PDK, Abelard Tahiri and the Minister of Justice, Albulena Haxhiu, until the opposition deputy said that it is unacceptable that today the government talks about abuses and abuses and not a word about Astri Deharin, for which he added that the Minister of Justice herself encouraged the initiation of this commission a few months ago.

Tahiri emphasized that he is the only person who took the initiative for Dehri's case to go to the Swiss institute, because according to him, they were interested in uncovering the truth about the loss of Astri Dehari's life.

He added that his first proposal as Minister of Justice was the allocation of the budget for this case to comply with the request of the parents of the deceased, Astrit Dehari.

Regarding this, Minister Haxhiu said that during the time when Tahiri was Minister of Justice, the misuse of about 1 million euros of forensic medicine payments was allowed and that nearly 700 autopsies were never closed. She emphasized that according to the information she has, Tahiri has not taken a single action to strengthen or address the violations at the Institute of Forensic Medicine.

Meanwhile, regarding the addressing of the request for the coverage of expenses in relation to the expertise from the Swiss institute from Tahiri, according to Haxhiu, such an action is not for boasting, because it is a responsibility towards the service of the citizens.
