In the absence of a quorum, the meeting of the Commission for Human Rights, in which the petition of the Kosovo Police Union was to be considered, failed to be held.

MPs from the ruling party were absent from this meeting. Meanwhile, the head of this commission, Dude Balje, together with the MPs from the opposition, decided to hold a public hearing, in this form to listen to the demands of the Union, but not based on the Rules of the Assembly.

Present at the meeting were the deputy from PDK, Ariana Musliu-Shoshi, from AAK, Albana Bytyqi, and the deputy from LDK, Marigona Geci.

The head of the union, Imer Zeqiri, while reiterating the demands of KP, said that health insurance remains very necessary for KP. While he added that since the implementation of the Salary Law, the police have not yet received dangerousness bonuses.

Meanwhile, the vice president of the union, Avni Hoti, emphasized that the police is in a serious condition.
