According to data from the Kosovo Tax Administration, due to the boycott of shops on Monday, February 10, business turnover has marked a slight decrease of over 100 thousand euros less, compared to February 3 (Monday). Meanwhile, this initiative of boycotting supermarkets will continue on February 15 and 16, due to high prices. This is what a group of people who have carried out this initiative have announced on social networks.

Stores generated over 13 million and 496 thousand euros on February 3 of this year, while turnover on February 10 (Monday), the day of the boycott, was around 13 million and 393 thousand euros or 103 thousand and 99 euros less, KosovaPress reports.

In a response to KosovaPress, according to this institution, this data is from the Electronic Fiscal Equipment System (EFS) which transmitted data on February 3 and 10, since as stated in their response, ATK does not have data that transmits real-time circulation from Fiscal Equipment on February 3 and February 10.

"We inform you that the Kosovo Tax Administration does not have data that transmits real-time turnover from Fiscal Devices on February 3 and February 10, because some of the fiscal devices that are in use by taxpayers are old and transmit data once a month to the TAK system and for this reason we do not have the opportunity to know the accuracy of the transactions that occurred for those specific days. In the table you have the data from the PEF System that transmitted data on February 3 and 10 and this is the current situation: The turnover on February 3 is 13,496,181.91 euros, while on February 10, 13,393,082.21 euros", it is stated in the TAK response.

We remind you that, on Monday, many citizens joined the initiative to boycott supermarkets as a result of the continuous increase in prices. They supported this initiative, emphasizing that the state must take measures to stop this phenomenon. The initiative has received support on social networks, where a group of citizens has been formed who have called for the boycott, which has gained support from more than 6 thousand citizens, while over 200 thousand others have been informed about it.
