British MP Alicia Kearns has conveyed her criticism of the continuation of ties between Serbia and Russia.

Kearns, in a post on X, said that Serbian President Aleksandar Vuçiq continues to seek more Russian gas and closer ties with Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin, sending four ministers to the BRICS summit in Russia.

"These include two Serbian ministers under US sanctions, Aleksandar Vulin and Nenad Popovic. Meanwhile, Ukrainians face the prospect of another winter under attack by Russian attacks targeting energy infrastructure in an attempt to freeze them into submission," Kearns wrote.
