The Vice President of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Vlora Çitaku, has ruled out the possibility of a coalition with the Vetëvendosje Movement. She said that they prefer to form a coalition with the opposition parties, adding that they are ready to take on the responsibility of governing.

At a press conference, Çitaku said that there is currently nothing concrete regarding this issue and that talks will begin after the certification of the election results.

Çitaku also spoke about the conversations that have circulated on social networks that there may be a potential candidate from the PDK for prime minister, besides Bedri Hamza.

Çitaku said that PDK has only one candidate for prime minister and that he is Bedri Hamza.

Regarding whether they have asked the LDK candidate for prime minister, Lumir Abdixhiku In order not to come up with positions for several days on the formation of the government, Çitaku denied such a thing.

Among other things, the PDK vice-president called on the Central Election Commission to ensure the accurate counting of every vote.

Çitaku said that PDK received its best result since 9 in the February 2014 elections, which she said is evidence of the return of trust among Kosovo citizens.
