The secretary of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Vlora Çitaku, said on Tuesday that Kosovo is in a critical moment, but according to her, PDK is mobilized and prepared "to lead the country towards a better future".
A few days before the election campaign officially begins, she said that the Democratic Party of Kosovo is expected to hold over 1 rallies across the country.
In a press conference, Çitaku, while presenting the plans for the general elections on February 9, said that this party "has the best candidate for prime minister, as well as the best list of deputies".
"We are at a critical moment for Kosovo, but PDK is mobilized, prepared and full of energy to lead our country towards a better future. Our candidates and our structures on the ground have worked long to ensure that every Citizens will be adequately represented. From today until the end of the campaign, PDK has planned over 1 meetings, not counting these individual meetings for MPs At 700:11 in the October 16 hall in Pristina, we will officially open the election campaign. We strongly believe that we have the best candidates for prime minister, the best list and the best program for the citizens," she said.
She also announced that they have appointed Blerand Stavilevci as the spokesperson of the campaign.And he said that "every step of this campaign should be transparent".
"We will ensure that every step of this campaign is transparent. PDK is committed to an open and cooperative relationship with the media every day and every moment whenever it is required. We value the critical role that journalists play in our democracy and we promise to offer you full access...PDK is ready to lead with a program that addresses the real needs of our citizens", he said.
The campaign for the general elections in Kosovo will begin on January 11, while the elections are held on February 9.
