A person suspected of carrying weapons without a permit is arrested
Kosovo Police, during the investigation of a domestic violence case, found a weapon on the suspect. According to the police, the case occurred in Gjilan while searches were carried out in the suspect's house and accompanying facilities. "Police units from the Gjilan Police Station, during the investigation of another domestic violence case on the suspect's belt, found one (1) KEL-TEC pistol type of 9mm caliber with a magazine and ten (10) cartridges. With the permission of the State Prosecutor, searches were carried out in the suspect's house and accompanying facilities, where during the search, one (1) AK-47 long weapon was found and confiscated along with two (2) magazines and one hundred and nine (109) 7.62mm caliber cartridges and twenty-five (25) 9mm caliber cartridges," the police statement said. By order of the State Prosecutor, the suspect, according to the police, has been taken into custody for 48 hours and a criminal report will be filed against him for the criminal offense of "Unauthorized ownership, control or possession of weapons."
