The Deputy Prime Minister of Kosovo, Besnik Bislimi, has announced the digitization of 100 new services during the year 2025.
Bislimi, in the presentation of the Program for the prevention and reduction of the administrative burden 2025-2028, said that the reform of the public administration in Kosovo is an essential step towards modernization and sustainable economic improvement.
According to him, so far more than 80 services have been simplified and this has led to the saving of around 3.5 million euros this year.
He emphasized that the executive aims to build a responsible, transparent administration that has the ability to create a favorable environment for citizens and businesses.
"Public Administration Reform constitutes an essential step towards modernization and sustainable economic improvement. What we aim for is the construction of a responsible, transparent administration that has the ability to create a favorable environment for both citizens and businesses", said Bislimi.The approval of this program was also welcomed by Johannes Madsen from the Office of the European Union in Kosovo.
Meanwhile, the German ambassador in Kosovo, Jorn Rohde, said that reducing the administrative burden will provide efficient services for citizens and businesses.
Meanwhile, the ambassador of Switzerland in Kosovo, Jurg Sprecher, said that the cooperation over the years with the government of Kosovo has brought results in reducing the administrative burden in the country.
Among other things, it was said in this meeting that reducing the administrative burden is also very important for the reform agenda in the context of integration into the European Union.
