Concrete solutions to electricity problems, access to finance, and programs for innovative ideas are being considered important issues, but left out of the agendas of political entities in the context of the election campaign.
Economic experts say that opposition parties have offered interesting solutions in the field of economics, but according to them, this is not enough. While, for the party currently in power, they stated that they have not offered a past curriculum that can be analyzed.
Economics expert Ismet Mulaj, in a statement to KosovaPress, says that solving the problem of the lack of electricity is one of the main challenges, but according to him, it is not being given the proper attention.
"The political parties are still not offering a concrete solution for electricity, which is one of the main problems... Both PDK and LDK are offering some interesting solutions in the field of economy. But, it is still not enough. Perhaps, even the programs are more election programs and as such are discussed in certain expert groups, not so much with interest groups," he says.
Mulaj emphasized that appropriate and quick solutions must be found regarding electricity generation.Meanwhile, the president of the Kosovo Chamber of Commerce, Lulzim Rafuna, says that it is important that the promises made in the field of economy by political entities be implemented.
In addition, Rafuna said that there is potential for more to be done, while stating that there remains a demand for even more measures to help businesses and the country's economy.
He emphasized that the opposition parties, according to him, are more concrete in terms of commitments in the field of the economy, also indicating the source of the funds that will be used. While, for the ruling party, he stated that apart from promises made at electoral rallies, he has not seen a plan-program that can be read and analyzed.
Former Minister of Trade and Industry, Ismet Mulaj, among other things, mentioned the consequences of the lack of access to finance, an issue that, according to him, was not touched upon by political parties in the electoral campaign for the February 9 elections.
