The Committee on Security and Defense Affairs has discussed parliamentary diplomacy in the field of security. In today’s meeting, the chairman Bekë Berisha brought the proposals for meetings on this matter, for which he did not receive the support of some of the members of the Vetëvendosje Movement.
He said that the security of the country is important in recent days, stressing the need to discuss parliamentary diplomacy in the field of security.
“Security is among the most important things these days, currently, in Kosovo. You know what situation we are in. We are raising children here; I can’t wait for anyone. It’s like a one-time idea, it’s approved by everyone’s consensus. This is not done unilaterally”, said Berisha.
LVV MP Enver Dugolli disagreed with this, saying that parliamentary diplomacy in the field of security cannot be handled by the Security Affairs Committee.
