During his official visit to Montenegro, the President of the Republic Bajram Begaj held meetings with representatives of Albanians in the government and parliament.
The Head of State discussed with them the political strengthening of the Albanian factor in Montenegro and the economic development of the municipalities where ethnic Albanians live.
"A special pleasure to meet with the Deputy Prime Minister of Montenegro, Nik Gjeloshaj,
"currently the highest Albanian representative in the government. We discussed the positive developments in strengthening cooperation between the two countries and expressed our belief that in the economic field and infrastructural interconnection there are still untapped opportunities waiting to be realized in the future," President Begaj wrote on social networks after the meeting with Gjeloshaj, reports ATSh.
President Begaj also held meetings with Albanian representatives in the Parliament of Montenegro at the Albanian Embassy in Podgorica."At the Embassy of the Republic of Albania in Podgorica, with a fraternal meeting of Albanian MPs in the Parliament of Montenegro. We discussed the political factorization of Albanians in Montenegro and the priorities of economic development through cross-border projects in areas inhabited by ethnic Albanians," wrote President Begaj.
The President of the Republic also informed about the meeting with the Deputy Speaker of Parliament Nikoll Camaj.
"It was a pleasure to meet the Deputy Speaker of the Parliament of Montenegro, the Albanian politician with valuable experience, Nikoll Camaj. We shared our thoughts on the political and economic strengthening of the ethnic Albanians living here, a solid bridge between the two peoples," said Begaj.
