Atletico Madrid players failed to score the expected victory in the next Spanish La Liga match in front of their home fans, drawing a draw a few minutes before the end of the match.

Claudio Giraldez's Celta Vigo proved to be an inadequate team and Argentine Diego Simeone's team was left with one less player on the field in the seventh minute after Pablo Barrios received a red card.   

The visitors took advantage of the players' superiority on the field and Iago Aspas managed to make it concrete with a goal scored from the penalty spot in the 68th minute.

The hosts escaped with Alexander Sorloth's goal nine minutes before the end of the match for a 1:1 epilogue.
