At least three children and three adults were killed after a shooting at a private Christian school in Nashville, Tennessee, USA.

The incident happened on Monday morning local time, where the suspect, a teenage girl, was then shot dead by the Police.

Don Aaron, spokesman for the Nashville Metropolitan Police Department, told reporters that the suspect had at least two semi-automatic rifles and a handgun.

"We do not know her identity at this time," he said.

The three students were pronounced dead after arriving at Monroe Carell Children's Hospital. So said John Howser, spokesman for the hospital.

Also, three members of the school staff were killed.

Covenant School in Nashville was founded in 2001 and has about 200 students, according to the school's website./REL
