Even after almost two years, the citizens of Skenderaj have not yet been compensated for the damages caused by the rain. As the first door of citizens, since February 2023, they turn to the municipality with complaints to convey them to the central level. In addition, this municipality, led by the opposition, estimates that it has been discriminated against in terms of budget distribution and projects.

This is what the mayor of Skenderaj, Fadil Nura, says in an interview for KosovaPress, while underlining that "government support has been zero during this term".

In addition, Nura talks about the expectations from the February 9, 2025 elections, citing single-source contracts, corruption and affairs as the main failures of the Kurti government.

Nura tells KosovaPress that the government has not taken any steps to operationalize the four-lane Komoran-Klina e Eperme road.

The first of Skenderaj, Fadil Nura expects that the Democratic Party of Kosovo will come first in the elections of February 9, 2025.

Meanwhile, Nura calls the victory indisputable in case of re-candidacy for president.

In addition to these, as the most important projects for 2025, Nura mentioned the continuation of the construction of social housing and the treatment of waste water.
