The most powerful passport, where is Kosovo?
As every year, the list of the ranking of the most powerful passports for 2024 was published.
The United Arab Emirates took first place for the fourth time in a row. Kosovo ranks 55th.
The global index measures the number of countries to which citizens can travel visa-free, with UAE nationals having access to an impressive 133 visa-free countries and an additional 47 visa-on-arrival countries, covering more than 90 percent of the world.
Spain overtook Germany to become the second most powerful passport, while Finland saw growth and took third place alongside France, Germany, Belgium, Italy, Denmark, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Austria, Portugal, Norway, Switzerland, Greece and Ireland, according to Passportindex.org.
The fourth place is shared by Sweden, Poland, Hungary, the fifth place by the Czech Republic, South Korea, Estonia, Croatia and Slovakia. In sixth place are Japan, Slovenia, Latvia, New Zealand and Liechtenstein. Singapore, Malta, Great Britain, Canada, Lithuania, Romania, Bulgaria, Australia share the seventh place.
