The average prices of derivatives in our country have again increased in recent days by about 5 cents per liter. This increase in the prices of derivatives has not been welcomed by the citizens, and even less so by the taxis. As far as the Oil Oilers Association, this increase is justified by the increase in prices in the international stock exchanges. Meanwhile, the president of this association has denied that there is an increase in the prices of derivatives as a result of the arrival of compatriots for the end of the year holidays, reports KosovaPress.

In the Kosovo market, a liter of diesel costs from 1 euro-cents to 20 euro-cents, while gasoline from 1 euro-cents to 29 euro-cents.

Citizen Ismet Luta says that based on monthly income, prices are high for derivatives. In addition, he expresses concern that the drop in the price of oil in the international stock market is slowly being reflected in our market.

Meanwhile, Naser Hyseni, who works as an auto-taxi, says that the price of derivatives has increased a lot compared to the earlier period.

As a result of these prices and the decrease in work, Hyseni says that the profit is small from his daily work. According to him, the liter of oil in Kosovo should be around 0 cents.

Even Fuad Daci mentions that recently he has noticed an increase in the prices of derivatives.

The President of the Association of Oil Workers of Kosovo, Fadil Berjani, admits that there is an increase in the prices of derivatives, which he calls a "slight increase".

Despite this, Berjani emphasizes that prices in Kosovo are cheaper than in the region, excluding North Macedonia, which he says has a lower excise duty than our country.

He further said that this increase has nothing to do with the arrival of emigrants, but as he points out, the price of fuel is determined by the international stock exchange and the OPEC production organization.

Fadil Berjani added that expats should not complain about oil prices, since according to him, in European countries "they pay more for derivatives".

Fuel prices affect not only the pockets of citizens, but also the prices of other products and services. Also, the price of fuel is a key factor that affects their monthly expenses.
