After the case of the attack in Ibër-Lepenc, and several other consecutive attacks in the north, the authorities raided several locations where they found an arsenal of weapons and other evidence.

On the evening of November 29, an explosion occurred in the village of Varagë in the municipality of Zubin Potok, in the northern part of Kosovo.

The explosion damaged the water channel of Ibër-Lepenci.

The Kosovo authorities have stated that the attack is criminal and terrorist and comes from gangs orchestrated from Belgrade.

Prime Minister Albin Kurti said that the attack was aimed at damaging the infrastructure "perhaps the most important one we have".

From Ibër-Lepenc, water is supplied from Lake Ujman to several cities in Kosovo, as well as the Energy Corporation of Kosovo.
