The Minister for Communities and Return, Nenad Rashiq, says that he is ready to be included in a working group for the drafting of the draft statute for the establishment of the Association of municipalities with a Serbian majority. According to him, so far no such group has been formed because the European Union is insisting that the draft of the Association should be done within the framework of the dialogue and not unilaterally by Kosovo. However, Rashiq is optimistic that an election will be found to get out of the current deadlock in the dialogue, and he even adds that after the elections on February 9, he expects there to be positive movements in this direction.

In an interview for KosovaPress, Rashiq states that the lack of implementation of the Brussels agreement and the Ohrid annex is also the fault of the European Union.

In spite of this, Rasić sees as a solution the possibilities for Kosovo to send the draft statute of the Association drawn up by the EU to the Constitutional Court for review.

He emphasizes that he has read the draft statute and that based on it, a third executive power is not offered for the Serbian community in Kosovo.

However, Rashiq says that the Association must be in accordance with the Constitution and laws of Kosovo.

According to him, the right moment for progress in the dialogue is the year 2025, after the parliamentary elections on February 9.

Rasić also criticizes the Serbian president, Aleksandër Vuçiq for the destructive approach to dialogue.

According to him, Vuçiq is unpredictable, until he shows in detail the special war he is waging against everyone who thinks differently about Kosovo.

The minister from the Serbian community says that even the establishment of a special prosecutor's office for Kosovo proves such a thing.
