PDK warns of a lawsuit against the deputy of the VV for the punitive measures of the EU
The Democratic Party of Kosovo will file a lawsuit for defamation against the deputy of the Vetëvendosje Movement, Arbëreshë Kryeziu-Hyseni, who a few days ago said that the two PDK officials Bernard Nikaj and Petrit Selimi have lobbied in Brussels against the lifting of punitive measures against Kosovo. .
The general secretary of the PDK, Vlora Çitaku, in a press conference on Friday, said that the claims of the deputy of the government are slander and propaganda to cover the failures and international isolation of Kosovo.
According to her, the punitive measures of the EU are a consequence of the adventurous and wrong policies of Prime Minister Albin Kurti.
Çitaku showed the commitment that, according to her, PDK chairman Memli Krasniqi has made for the removal of sanctions.
She also spoke about the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue and the international pressure to send the draft association statute drawn up by the EU to the Constitutional Court. Çitaku underlined that the draft statute had to be written by the institutions themselves and in accordance with the Constitution and the expectations of the allies.
