The Prosecution Council of Kosovo and the Office of the Chief State Prosecutor have reacted to the statements of the Minister of Finance, Hekuran Murati, made yesterday during the day.

In this reaction, it is requested that politicians be careful with their statements and not hinder the work of the prosecutors, it is also said that the tendencies of the representatives of the Government towards the Prosecutor's Office will be unsuccessful.

"Therefore, the tendencies of political party actors, including Government representatives, who aim to undermine the credibility and professionalism of the Special Prosecutor's Office, have been and will be unsuccessful. KPK and ZPCSH support the Special Prosecutor's Office in the exercise of its functions, namely in the uncompromising fight against all criminal offenses under the jurisdiction of this prosecutor's office", the reaction states.

Until a day ago, the Minister of Finance, Hekuran Murati, reacting to the opposition's criticism of the procurement procedures carried out through the negotiated method, said that the Special Prosecutor's Office is fighting Kurti and not corruption.
