The mayor of Presheva Ardita Sinani has accused official Belgrade of continuing the ethnic cleansing of the Albanians of the Valley through the passivation of addresses and has warned that regarding this matter they will turn to the international institutions of justice.

Sinani announced on Facebook that the Constitutional Court of Serbia rejected the appeal of Safet Demir from Medvegja for the return of the address.

"In addition to legitimizing extreme discrimination around passivation, the Constitutional Court, with an unconstitutional decision like this, is working to discourage the Albanians of the Valley in their battle for justice and equality. Sadik Demiri is the best example of the discrimination that Serbia is doing to Albanians, and at the same time an example of how we should not give up," Sinani wrote.

Sinani has warned that they will seek justice in international justice institutions.

"Therefore, when Serbia, through its highest body of justice, is continuing the old practice, the Albanians of the Valley have to seek justice in the international institutions of justice. From there we will defeat the discrimination of Serbia and there we will establish justice".
