The operator of telecommunications services - IPKO, with historic achievements in the expansion of the 5G network at the national level, estimates that Kosovo has a successful market that is ahead of most neighboring countries with 5G network service.

Leaders of the telecommunications company IPKO, which provides services to over one million subscribers in our country, say that in addition to the 5G network, during this year IPKO also launched the IPKO TV platform, which offers consumers access to television and other devices, anywhere that they go

In an interview for KosovaPress, CEO at IPKO, Andras Pali says that he sees Kosovo as a successful market while he mentions that this company offers advanced services in 38 municipalities of our state.

"IPKO currently has over 1 million subscribers in Kosovo where through the market leader in Telecommunications we offer advanced services in all 38 municipalities of Kosovo... We have sales points in all municipalities, we have sales channels even in the smallest villages and in big cities, in all big cities we have IPKO stores. IPKO has always been at the forefront of innovation, we were the first to offer 4G services, 5G services, E-Sim in Kosovo. This year, we launched our new IPKO TV solution where users can access content on TV, traditional internet, computers, iPads, phones, wherever they go. We launched a very successful package including the IPKO TV solution, it's a fully digital solution and we believe we are once again driving the market forward. .. We are helping local communities, health, sports, education, I would mention 'BONE VET' where we have very successful cooperation in the digital education of young and older citizens", says Pali.

The general director of IPKO considers the Kosovo market as interesting, for which he says that Kosovo has a population educated in the digital system.

"Kosovo is a very interesting market, it has a young population, a digitally educated population, and we believe that Kosovo will be at the top of the region. With 5G Kosovo is already ahead of most of our neighboring countries and it is a very successful market for us, we are very proud to be here and we would like to move forward and offer even better services to all users, businesses or our customers", says Pali for KosovaPress.

Pali emphasizes that IPKO is continuing to invest in 5G service, while promising that by the end of next year over 300 sites will be upgraded with the latest technology.

"This year we have launched our new platform IPKO TV which is available via mobile, with the same content that you can see on a traditional TV, you will be able to see it in your weekend house, in your car or in the restaurant where you are eating. We are moving forward and investing heavily in 5G, we have covered major cities so far, we have built around 100 sites of our own and by the end of next year we will have more than 300 sites upgraded with the latest technology that offers the best mobile services for Kosovars", says Pali.

On the eve of a quarter century of its establishment, the IPKO company will donate 25 scholarships to young people who do not have the opportunity to receive a proper education, ensuring that their digital skills are improved.

"We are looking for new talents, we would like to find young Kosovans who have ideas on how to move Kosovo forward and we would like to give these scholarships to individuals who themselves may not have the opportunity to receive education proper. We want to make sure that the digital skills of these young people will be improved and we would like to see individuals who can determine what part they would like to take for the future and we would like to help them walk in that part", says Pali.

A few days ago, the telecommunications company IPKO held the second edition of the Cyber ​​Security Conference, which aimed to raise general awareness and improve the country's cyber security position. It discussed the advancements in the field of Cyber ​​Security, new transformations in protection from them and advanced strategies and cyber threats that can be expected from technological development.

The IPKO mobile operator is considered one of the telecommunications companies with the fastest growth and expansion, while it remains an important pillar of the country's economy, as the largest direct foreign investment in Kosovo.
