The investigators of the Kosovo Police Inspectorate (IPK) were informed today by the Kosovo Police about an incident that happened after 02:30 in a bar in Ranillug, when a citizen and a policeman, who was off duty, were beaten with each other. the other also suffering bodily injuries.

The persons involved in the incident were subsequently arrested and by the decision of the prosecutor's office they were ordered to be detained for 48 hours, and a criminal complaint was filed by the IPK.

As part of the administrative procedures for the suspected police official, the IPK has recommended his suspension to the Kosovo Police.

The IPK investigators are expected to undertake other investigative actions towards clarifying all the circumstances of this case.
