The Romania-Kosovo match was finally stopped after the insults directed at the Dardanians in the extra minutes by the Romanian fans while the result was 0:0 and the final decision will be taken by UEFA in the coming days.

The players of the Kosovo national team left the "National Arena" in Bucharest after the insulting and racist chants of the local fans directed at the Dardanians, and the situation even escalated after a debate between Denis Alibec and Amir Rrahmani.

The episode ended with the Kosovo players walking off the field in the fourth minute of extra time and they refused to return.

After the stoppage that lasted more than an hour, only the Romanian footballers returned to the field and the Danish referee Morten Krogh eventually stopped the match after the Dardanians refused to return due to racist insults.

Kosovo dominated the match, with 17 shots compared to four from the hosts, looking for the victory to qualify directly to group 1 Liga C and in all likelihood will continue the same group next edition.

Kosovo hosts Lithuania in the last match of the group in "Fadil Vokrri", on November 18.
