The Police Inspectorate of Kosovo (IPK) has recommended the suspension of three employees of the Kosovo Police under suspicion of the criminal offense of mistreatment during the exercise of official duties or public authorizations.
The first information related to this case was received by the IPK from the Kosovo Police and after the initial investigative actions, it is suspected that two police officers from the traffic unit of the capital and another officer from the South Police Station in Pristina have exceeded their authorizations of use. of strength.
The incident is reported to have happened on the evening of November 11, 2024 in Fushë Kosovë, on the occasion of a traffic stop of a citizen by police officials.
IPK investigators in consultation and coordination with the Basic Prosecutor's Office in Pristina are expected to undertake other investigative actions to clarify the circumstances of this incident.
